Free! - Outside Iwami Station

Since I had some extra time on the way back from the town of Kami shown in Air, I made a quick, unplanned stop at Iwami Station since it was shown in Free!

It's called Iwatobi Station in the anime.

A look towards the train station platforms.

This town is the main location of Free!

Café across the street from the train station.

Road leading further into town. I didn't have time to check out the rest of it, but there's lots of other Free! locations here.

This building is the tourist information office.

Closeup of the entrance. If you look closely you can spot a Free! poster in the window.

There's the same amount of vending machines with the same colours outside the train station. I couldn't get a better matching picture here since there was a taxi stand right in front of here.

The building on the left seems slightly different from the anime.

You can see the taxi that was in front of the vending machines in this picture.

These yellow poles in the ground seems to be more bent in real life.

I also checked out the tourist information office. They had tons of Free! stuff inside.

Free! sightseeing maps on the right here and some metal cutouts of the characters.

More metal cutouts of the characters, posters and some local goods.

Various Free! goods for sale.

Including clear files, keychains and postcards.

Lots of goods left by fans on display as well.

Including birthday greetings.

And some shikishi sign boards.

Some cardboard cutouts and a place to hang anime ema.

Closeup of some of the ema.

Various Free! sightseeing guides.

And finally a guestbook.

People from all over the world had been here, including Vietnam and Poland as seen here.

I signed it as well.
