Air - Train Station Details

In a small area right next to Kohata Station and the main Kyoto Animation office there's a few details that seems to have been shown at the main train station in Air.

Image from Episode 1 - 18m15s

Some kind of art which you can see on the left side in the screenshot.

This clock seems to be shown as well.

Both in the same shot.

Inside Kohata Station there's one of these water faucets. The station itself is not the same as in the anime though. It's supposedly based on one that's been torn down and replaced a long time ago.

And there's this jungle gym in a kindergarten that's really really close that's shown as well.

The jungle gym, on the right in the screenshot here, was also shown in Kanon Episode 14 - 11m49s

Since I was already here I took a picture of the Kyoto Animation main office too. This time they had posters for A Silent Voice and Sound! Euphonium season two here.

And I went back to the building with the KyoAni Shop.

A Silent Voice and Sound! Euphonium posters in addition to a Violet Evergarden one at the KyoAni Shop. They're supposedly going to move the shop to a new location soon, so maybe I'll check out the new location later in 2017.

No location map since it's just next to Kowata Station and the Kyoto Animation main office.

This location was visited on 2016/10/21.

If you decide to visit this place yourself, do remember that the kindergarten still in use and you should NOT enter it.

Special thanks to the ones who went here before:

Sound! Euphonium - Eating Places Revisit

While checking out more Sound! Euphonium places I also went back and took some pictures inside the eating places in Sound! Euphonium I had visited earlier.

This place is also shown in other episodes of both seasons, but they show other tables where there were people sitting when I was here.

Sound! Euphonium - Yamashiro Sports Park

In both seasons of Sound! Euphonium we see Yamashiro Sports Park (also known as Taiyogaoka). The closest train station is Shinden Station, but I walked here from Uji.

This is where the SunFes in episode 5 of the first season is held.

Image from S1E5 - 18m44s

Closer look at the field.

Image from S1E5 - 14m26s

There was some kind of event going on when I was here, so I couldn't get too many pictures.

Image from S1E5 - 14m56s

The gates behind Matsumoto and Taki matches. I only got a picture from a different angle compared to the show though.

In the sports park there's also the pool they visit in episode 2 of the second season.

Reverse angle.

The pool area seemed to be open, but there were nobody there.

Image from S2E1 - 46m02s

So I walked in an got some quick pictures.

Image from S2E2 - 08m20s

Most of the pool area seen in the show seemed to be closed off with ropes, so I didn't get any pictures that matched that well. You can see the similar outdoor showers and covered sitting places here though.
