K-On - Hirakata Park

In addition to Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions, Hirakata Park is supposedly also shown in K-On.

At the top of the water slide there's a similar looking zig zag.

This is the view of the pool area, which is turned into skating rinks in the winter. If you look closely you can spot the similar looking rectangular pool and the yellow stairs to the left of it.

Hirakata Park also got a ferris wheel that's similar to one shown in this shot in the anime. The other elements doesn't match though.

Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions - Hirakata Park

In the second season of Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions we see the amusement park Hirakata Park which is located near Hirakata-kōen Station.

This is at the pool area in the park. You can see a part of the water slide on the left and the wooden stairs on the right that matches.

Shichimiya is under the waterfall near these stairs. The waterfall wasn't operating since I visited in the winter.

Haruhi Suzumiya - Kobe

There's 2 locations in Kobe that's shown in Haruhi Suzumiya, so I checked them both out.

This is at Kobe Harborland close to Kobe Station. The structure on the left is the old signal station.




Hare Hare Yukai / Welcome Unknown Vinyl Single Back Cover


The cranes at the harbor here was also shown as the back cover of the Hare Hare Yukai vinyl record.

This picture of Kobe is taken from Kita Park on Port Island in Kobe. The closest station to the park is Naka Kōen Station.

Kita Park and the Kobe Ohashi Bridge that goes over the park are known for being shown in various Fate media as well.

Haruhi Suzumiya - Library

The library in Haruhi Suzumiya is based on Nishinomiya City Central Library. The closest train station is Hanshin Railways Kōroen Station, but since I was taking JR I walked from Sakura Shukugawa Station.

Haruhi Suzumiya - Riverside

At the riverside by Muko river lies the place where they set off fireworks in Endless Eight in Haruhi Suzumiya. The closest train station is Kōshienguchi Station.
