Clannad After Story - New Hospital

I also visited the new hospital shown in the later episodes of Clannad After Story, not to be confused with the hospital Nagisa goes to when she's pregnant.

The hospital is close to Kemigawahama Station in real life. You could walk here, but it's easier to take a bus.

It's called Chiba Kaihin Municipal Hospital, and not Hikarizaka General Hospital like in the anime.

I only saw one bench here and it didn't have a roof over it.

View towards the main entrance.

View of the hospital from the other side of the road. There's no park area here in real life.

Image from Episode 21 - 10m49s

There's no park area to the left of the hospital either, just more parking spots.

Fuko and Kouko outside the hospital.

Reverse view.

Close to the hospital is also the kindergarten Ushio attends.

I couldn't get too many pictures here, but you can see the matching roof and shape of the building.

The entrance didn't match though. I've marked a path from the hospital to this place in the map below.

Kaiyodo Figure Museum

Another place I visited this time was the Kaiyodo Figure Museum in Nagahama located a short walk from Nagahama Station.

This is the museum, but it's currently under renovations until 2020.

The museum has temporarily moved to the location of The Art Center Nagahama during the renovations.

Lots of figures inside of course, including some life size ones. These are of Kenshiro and Yulia from Fist of the North Star.

Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

And Oni-Musume sculptured by Bome.

Not life size, but still really big were these figures of Skuld, Belldandy and Urd from Ah! My Goddess!.

Most of the normal sized figures were in display cases. Lots of mecha here including LED Mirage from The Five Star Stories on the right here.

More mecha including some Virtual On, and also Professor Layton for some reason.

Ultraman figures.

Star Wars.

Charizard from Pokémon, Haruhi Suzumiya and Yotsuba among others.

Asuka Langley Soryu from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Megurine Luka and Hatsune Miku.

Saber and Rin Tohsaka from Fate.

Not in a display case were these Godzilla figures.

They also had dioramas, including Metal Gear Solid, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Domo-kun.

Lupin the Third, Alien and Deadpool.

Lots of Neon Genesis Evangelion dioramas.

They had tons of these small gashapon sized figures.

Spider-Man and Dead or Alive.

KanColle and Haruhi Suzumiya.

Lots of different ones including Hajime no Ippo, Ah! My Goddess! and Nichijou - My Ordinary Life.

They also had figures not based on popular culture, like these food items.

British museum items.

Sea creatures.

Fighting gods.

Dinosaurs.

Here you could also buy a figure and paint it yourself, but I didn't try that.

The history of Kaiyodo. Only in Japanese though.

Various flyers you could take and a figure of the Tower of the Sun, which I've visited because of Hidamari Sketch in Osaka.

The museum ticket and a special gashapon coin they give out together with the ticket. There were a few gashapon machines in the museum, but I thought the coin itself was more interesting.

Close to Nagahama Station I also saw a beauty salon which was named Clannad for some reason.

There's dango family decorations and everything. I've marked a path from the Kaiyodo Figure Museum to this place in the map below.
