The Garden of Words - Park

The park seen in the anime movie The Garden of Words is based on Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden in real life, so I went to have a look.

The entrance gates themselves have been replaced with newer ones.

It got an ashtray in real life, but other than that it matches.

Near the pavilion is also this pond.

If you go there you can see koi fish here.

And there's also another bigger pavilion here called Taiwan Pavilion.

This is another entrance to the park called Sendagaya Gate.

If you head out of Sendagaya Gate towards Sendagaya Station you'll see this pedestrian underpass where Chūō-Sobu Line trains run.

No map since this is a famous tourist attraction.
