Girls und Panzer - Train Station

Another place I decided to visit was Ōarai where there are a couple of Girls und Panzer locations. The first stop was Ōarai Station.

Even before I got to Ōarai I saw this poster on the train there which was promising.

Train platform at Ōarai Station.

Even at the platform there were Girls und Panzer signs.

The track number signs also had girls on them.

I took these two pictures on the way back.

Hallway towards the tracks in the station. In the bottom right corner you can see bikes which you can rent to get around town.

If you looked closely at the previous picture you might have noticed this Girls und Panzer sign.

Ticket gates. No automatic ones here.

The huge billboard that can be seen in the background of the last picture.

Convenience store inside the train station.

They sold Girls und Panzer goods here of course.

I bought some water.

There were also this tourist office inside the station.

Inside it were tons of Girls und Panzer stuff. Everything from model tanks and shikishi autograph boards.

To tableware and posters.

They also had a guestbook here.

Lots of nice drawings as always.

And I signed this one too.

I also picked up one of these stamp rally maps they had there. More on that in a later post.

The station also had these goods machines.

And other decorations.

Outside the station building. Even here there were a cardboard cutout.

There's also this dolphin statue outside the station.

And I saw this itasha decorated car here.

More ads in the train on the way back.

I also managed to see the Girls und Panzer decorated train.

With both the Anglerfish team.

And the rest of the teams.

If you look closely you can see that there's decorations on the walls inside the train as well.
