Hidamari Sketch - Hotel

The hotel where the girls in Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb is staying in on their Hokkaido trip is Noboribetsu Grand Hotel.

The dome on the entrance is different than in the anime.




The onsen in the hotel is open to non-staying guests so I decided to try it out. No pictures allowed inside so I only got a picture of the onsen area entrance.

One of the interesting sightseeing spots in Noboribetsu is Hell Valley. This is a volcanic crater where you can see sulphuric streams and boiling water.




Mount Hiyori, an active volcano. The pond contains water with high temperatures so there was steam rising off it even on a warm autumn day.




In Sengen Park closer to the hotel there was a geyser down these stairs.

After checking out Noboribetsu, I stopped at this eating place that was shown in the anime. There's no easy way to get here so you'll either need to walk for a couple of miles, drive or take a taxi.
