Hidamari Sketch - Otaru Canal

Last on the list of Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb places to visit was the city of Otaru. Some of the locations shown were places near Otaru canal. The closest train station is Otaru Station.

This is the view from Asakusa Bridge. Probably the best-known tourist location in Otaru.

On the other side of the street is this watchtower. You can go inside it to get a better view of the canal area.

Nearby is also this glass shop called Otaru Taisho Glass Palace.

If you look closely you can see that some of the vases on top of the shelves look similar to the anime.
