Love Live Nijigasaki - Venus Fort

A place that was shown in Love Live Nijigasaki High School Idol Club which unfortunately no longer exists was the Venus Fort shopping mall.

A part of the building was still standing when I visited though, so I got some matching pictures of the outsides. This is at the west side of the building.

This is the north side at the palette town entrance.

Karin is shown in the first season OP walking up the palette town entrance stairs.

Closeup of Karin.

At the top of the stairs there's this area that was shown in episode 8 of the first season. You can't actually go down into it any more though.

There was a closing note hanging up here thanking people for visiting the mall.

Another shot from the second season. This area and the palette town entrance are still here so people can access the nearby Aomi Station.

One thing that's no longer here is the Daikanransha ferris wheel, here in a picture I took back in 2014.

And a picture of what was left of it when I visited this time.

This fountain shown in both seasons used to be inside Venus Fort itself. This is another picture of mine from 2014.

Image from S1E4 - 19m27s

Also inside Venus Fort there was the Toyota History Garage with lots of classic cars on display which I took pictures of in 2017.

Image from S1E1 - 19m49s

This tunnel shown in the shot behind Ayumu was the entrance to the Toyota History Garage. You can see the full tunnel and the lit up information board next to it at the front of this picture I took in 2014.

Another place shown in Love Live Nijigasaki High School Idol Club which I visited in 2017 that's now shut down was the Odaiba Oedo Onsen Monogatari. It was not located near Venus Fort, but I included a picture I took of the hot spring footbaths that was there since both places are now gone.

No location map since it's no longer there.

This location was visited on 2022/10/13. The older pictures are from 2014/04/16 and 2017/02/17.

Love Live Nijigasaki - DiverCity Tokyo Plaza

Next of the places shown in Love Live Nijigasaki High School Idol Club was DiverCity Tokyo Plaza of course.

Image from S1E1 - 16m09s

This is the west side of the building.

Image from S1E13 - 02m44s

South side where the Unicorn Gundam statue is located.

Image from S2E11 - 18m56s

The statue was under renovations this time so some of the area around it was closed off.

Image from S2E11 - 19m14s

Closeup of the statue.

Image from S2E1 - 00m42s

This shot of its back is taken from the o-kaidan stairs at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza.

Image from S1E1 - 22m14s

The o-kaidan stairs is also where Nana is seen sitting in the first ED. She also performs here in episode 1 of the first season.

Image from S1E11 - 05m00s

Everybody sitting down near the stairs. The Gundam Cafe that used to be here has closed down.

Image from S1E11 - 05m07s

They have a break after looking for a venue for their school idol festival.

Image from S1E11 - 05m18s

And they all...

Image from S1E11 - 05m26s

Have different ideas...

Image from S1E11 - 05m28s

About where they want to perform.

Image from S1E11 - 05m32s

Yu is amused.

Closeup of the ground in front of the o-kaidan stairs.

Image from S1E11 - 15m43s

Later on when they decide to use several venues, this shot from the stairs is shown.

Image from S1E13 - 13m09s

The stairs area is also shown in the last episode of the first season, when it starts to rain.

Image from S1E13 - 13m41s

People taking cover from the rain at the DiverCity Tokyo Plaza entrance near the Unicorn Gundam statue.

Image from S1E13 - 15m08s

Fans waiting for a performance at the stairs later on when it clears up again.

Image from S1E13 - 16m37s

Kasumi is shown on the screen here before the final performance of the festival, just like Karin was shown on the screen at Central Square.

Image from S2E11 - 19m34s

Right next to DiverCity Tokyo Plaza is the DiverCity Tokyo Office Tower, which is shown in the background here.

Image from S2E11 - 19m36s

Ai, Rina and Mia is shown running here, onto a small bridge at the office tower.

Image from S2E11 - 19m37s

Closeup of the connection between the walkway and the bridge.

Image from S2E11 - 19m39s

Rina dragging Mia along.

Image from S2E11 - 19m41s

One of the entrances to DiverCity Tokyo Office Tower can be seen on the left in this shot.

Image from S1E2 - 03m13s

This shot in the first OP is at the entrance on the north-east side of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza. I've marked a path from the bridge near DiverCity Tokyo Office Tower to this place in the map below.

In a corner at this entrance they had cardboard cutouts of all the Love Live Nijigasaki High School Idol Club members.
