Tari Tari - Kamakurakōkōmae Station

Another place shown in several episodes of Tari Tari is Kamakurakōkōmae Station.

Image from Episode 1 - 00m22s

The station is on the right here in this shot from the OP, and on the left you can spot Enoshima Island in the distance.

Image from Episode 1 - 03m44s

Image from Episode 4 - 03m23s

The station only got 1 track and platform.

Image from Episode 1 - 22m43s

Taichi bikes past Wien waiting at the station platform in the first version of the ED. You can see that the station is called Shirahamazakakōkōmae Station in the anime because of the sign to the right of Wien.

Image from Episode 3 - 07m23s

This is the train crossing just to the east of the station building. There's tons of tourists here because this is a popular tourist spot, and it's supposedly best known for appearing in the first OP for the Slam Dunk anime. I've marked a path from the station building to this crossing in the map below.

Image from Episode 3 - 07m24s

Wakana is waiting at the crossing when she spots...

Image from Episode 3 - 07m25s

A certain character across the street. The zebra crossing has been moved further away from the train crossing since the anime was made.

Image from Episode 3 - 07m34s

He runs towards the train crossing when he sees Wakana.

Image from Episode 3 - 07m42s

But she manages to disappear.

Image from Episode 4 - 03m43s

Wien runs near the zebra crossing.

Image from Episode 8 - 07m05s

Wide shot. The train here is similar to the one in the anime.

Image from Episode 8 - 21m11s

Closeup of the stop light at the zebra crossing. It says Shirahamazaka on the sign in the anime here too.

Image from Episode 8 - 21m13s

Sawa rides her horse here.

Image from Episode 8 - 21m15s

And heads across the train crossing.

Your Name - Train Crossing

I also checked out a bunch of Your Name locations in Nagano, starting with the train crossing that was supposedly shown in the movie, which is located close to Otabe Station in real life.

Image from Your Name - 10m56s

This is the angle that seems to match the most compared to what was shown in the movie, but the screenshot is flipped and there's some elements missing.

Image from Your Name - 10m56s

This is the screenshot as shown in the movie. You can see the similar looking metal utility box in the picture here.

Image from Your Name - 31m08s

I also took a picture from the opposite side so the metal utility box position matches when the screenshot is flipped.

Image from Your Name - 31m08s

There's a sign with a 7 on it here, but it's not in the same location as in the movie.

Image from Your Name - 31m08s

I also took a picture from the road, then the metal utility box position matches, but the road and railway track is switched.

Your Lie in April - More Train Crossings

In episode 6 of Your Lie in April there's some train crossings near Ōizumi-gakuen Station that are shown. These should not be confused with the train crossing near Kami-Shakujii Station that's also shown in the same anime.

Image from Episode 6 - 09m20s

Road near the train crossing closest to Ōizumi-gakuen Station.

Image from Episode 6 - 09m12s

The crossroad here doesn't actually exist in real life, but you can see the sign and red fire extinguisher box that's shown in the anime shot.

Image from Episode 6 - 09m30s

Somehow Tsubaki gets transported to a road near a train crossing slightly further away from Ōizumi-gakuen Station in this shot.

Image from Episode 6 - 09m35s

And then back again to the train crossing closer to Ōizumi-gakuen Station.

Image from Episode 6 - 09m40s

Tsubaki receives a phone call...

Image from Episode 6 - 09m45s

From Saito.

Image from Episode 6 - 09m41s

This bridge is also close to the train crossings.

Image from Episode 6 - 09m48s

The signs here at the crossing closest to Ōizumi-gakuen Station are the same.

Image from Episode 6 - 09m54s

As are most of the buildings here. There's another apartment building that's been built on the right though.

Image from Episode 6 - 09m57s

Full view of the crossing closest to Ōizumi-gakuen Station.

Image from Episode 6 - 10m10s

Reverse view.

Image from Episode 6 - 17m09s

The crossing further away from Ōizumi-gakuen Station is also shown later in the same episode. The left side here doesn't match exactly.

Image from Episode 6 - 17m14s

Somebody comes walking across the train crossing...

Image from Episode 6 - 17m20s

And it's revealed to be Kousei.

Image from Episode 6 - 17m30s

Another switch back to the crossroad that doesn't exist near the crossing closer to Ōizumi-gakuen Station. The sign and the red fire extinguisher box is shown on the left though.

Image from Episode 6 - 00m41s

Image from Episode 6 - 20m25s

At the crossing closer to Ōizumi-gakuen Station is also where Tsubaki carries Kousei at the start of the episode and where Kousei carries Tsubaki at the end. I've marked a path from this crossing going to the crossing further away and then ending up at the nearby bridge in the map below.
