School Days - Nice Boat

Instead of the final episode of the School Days anime, TV Kanagawa showed footage of European nature set to classical music. This lead to the creation of a meme when somebody posted a comment saying Nice Boat. The boat that was shown is MF Skagastøl which is running between Flåm and Gudvangen in Nærøyfjorden here in Norway, so I went and had a look.

The company Fylkesbaatane has merged with several other companies over the years and has been known as Fjord1 since 2012.

School Days - Another Train Station

If you head out the east exit at Ōmiya station instead of the Lucky Star west exit then you'll find this School Days location. I was already there of course so here's some pictures.

The bus stops didn't have the little roofs above them when the game was made.

Unlike the other train station I visited, this one was also shown in the School Days anime.

School Days - Train Station

Haramihama Station in the visual novel School Days is modeled after Nishi-Kokubunji Station in real life. I was taking the train past this station anyway so I got off the train and took a few quick pictures. Note that in the anime series this has been changed so it no longer matches. However in the later School Days ONA that was made that re-uses footage from the game this matches.

The station name is of course different, but the sign is similar.

The benches have been replaced with newer ones, but the structures near the hill still matches.

Some of the signs are missing, but otherwise it matches pretty good.

I've actually not played this, only seen the anime. Was a bit disappointing when I found out that they changed it in the anime.



No location map since it's just the platform at Nishi-Kokubunji Station.
