Haruhi Suzumiya - Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station

The last Haruhi Suzumiya location I visited this time was the areas around Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station. I went here before, but didn't get that many pictures then.

Kyon arrives at the station.

This clock is still here.

Full view of the clock.

There's one of these Haruhi tobidashi figures made by tesra1141 at the clock.

There's also this plaque attached to the clock. It explains how the clock was removed during renovations of the park it stands in, but then it was brought back because it was in Haruhi Suzumiya.

Kyon is usually parking his bicycle at this corner.

And he's running towards Nishikita Park in front of the north exit of Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station.

Since the park was renovated it looks completely different.

The buildings around the park still looks the same though.

There's still a bank in the building on the right.

And the view of the park from the train station.

Haruhi walks towards the train station.

And Kyon finds that his bicycle has been confiscated since it was parked illegally.

This street close to the train station is shown in a later episode. I've marked a path from Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station to this place in the map below.

The areas in front of Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station north exit are also shown a lot in Endless Eight.

The wall in the background is covered in metal plates in real life.

The park is also shown at night in the anime.

There's a regular tobidashi figure on the left here in real life.

This is the bus stops at the south exit of Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station.

You can take buses here to Kyon's House, Hirota Shrine and other nearby locations, just like you can from JR Nishinomiya Station.

Haruhi runs off to take a taxi.

You can see the ACTA Nishinomiya shopping mall to the left here, which is where I saw a Haruhi blood donation poster.

The signs on the station building are the same colors as in the anime.

  1. So sad that they tore out the park :(

  2. I wish they had left the old park intact. The new park has no personality.
