Godzilla Statues

While in Tokyo I also checked out the Shin Godzilla Statue and Godzilla Head Statue.



This Shin Godzilla statue is located close to Yurakucho Station and Hibiya Station.




There's the Toho Cinemas Chanter in the building in the background.

This is the Godzilla head statue in Kabukicho close to Shinjuku Station. The building it's on contains Toho Cinemas Shinjuku and Hotel Gracery Shinjuku among other things. I've marked a path from the Shin Godzilla statue to this Godzilla head statue in the map below.




The hotel has special Godzilla hotel rooms and you can get a close look at the statue as well.




Front view. There's smoke machines inside the mouth. They get activated together with sounds every hour during the day and evening.




They also had reliefs here with plaques. This one depicts a scene from the first movie from 1954.






This depicts the 1984 Godzilla movie, which is also known as Godzilla 1985 in some countries.






And finally one depicting the 1992 Godzilla vs. Mothra movie.
