The bench itself isn't shown as much in the second season, but there's a shot of Mamiko, Kumiko's sister, sitting in the bench.

Mizore seems to be at the same place here as Kumiko is at the start of the very first episode.

Kumiko mails a letter to her sister.

The mailbox is close to Kisen-bashi Bridge on the right here.

They had Sound! Euphonium posters in the window of the place to the left in the previous picture.

The bridge itself was closed because of the high water level.

I checked the tourist information office nearby yet again. Hugo_Kirara3500, which I met at the KyoAni Do Fan Days 2017 event, had signed the guestbook here.

I signed the guestbook, and a certain other Kyoto Animation fan, ultimatemegax, also signed it after I had been there. I've marked the location of the tourist information office in the map below.

I also got pictures of a scene from episode 12 of the first season starting at the bench.

I've gotten a few pictures of this scene from earlier visits, but not the complete scene before now.

Kumiko hears somebody playing the trombone.

From across the river.

It's Shuuichi. You can see the really high water level here.

And that the band has improved.

The pedestrian sign in the background is the same.

Aoi wishes Kumiko good luck.

Aoi moves on.

And walks off.
