Robotics Notes - Convenience Store

One of the main locations in Robotics;Notes is the convenience store, which is located in Nakatane in Tanegashima in real life.

Outside the convenience store.

They had this anime location marker outside so I knew I were in the right place.

It's named Ai Shop Nagai instead of Irei Shop like in the anime.

Inside the store.

View towards the cashier area. If you look closely you can see a Robotics;Notes poster on the left in the picture.

I bought Skal in the store.

Bench outside the store.

The area between the pillar on the left and the store windows is narrower than in the anime.

Everything else except the placement of the pillar matches though.

This other pillar also seems to be placed further away from the store in the show. You can see the traffic sign and utility pole between the vending machines and the pillar in the screenshot, but it doesn't seem possible to get a similar shot in real life.

Another shot of the outsides. This shot is used several times in different episodes.

You can see a poster of Akiho in the window in the picture.

Akiho is holding bottles of Skal in the poster.

Nae sitting outside the store. Quite impossible to get a matching shot because of the pillar here.

And Jun sitting outside the store in another episode.

Across the street from the convenience store is also this takoyaki shop that was shown in the second ED. I've marked a path from the convenience store to this place in the map below.
