Both Chiba station and the monorail in Chiba can be seen a few times in Oreimo. You can either take a JR train to Chiba station or take a Keisei train to Keisei Chiba station to get there. I took a JR train there and got some pictures.

This is in front of the station. The station is currently undergoing renovations so they've taken down the big sign seen in the season 1 shot. The same entrance can be seen in the middle part of the season 2 shot, this time without the big sign.

The monorail can be seen in the OP of both seasons. I've marked the nearest buildings to both the JR station exit seen above and this spot in the location map.
Here's a picture of one of the monorail trains arriving at Chiba station. I used the monorail to get to Chiba Park.
They actually had Oreimo decals on the monorail trains for a while. I arrived in Japan 2 weeks too late to see them unfortunately. There were still some goods for sale though.
Train alarm clock. This is how the train looked with the decals on it.

Any way to get those alarm clocks?
ReplyDeleteI'd like to have the yellow one so bad!! (^^)
If you're lucky they might show up on Yahoo auctions or Mandarake. Don't count on it though. They were in a limited amount and only sold at certain Chiba monorail stations.
