This is where Mitsuha takes the train from when going to Tokyo.

I got a picture of the station with a train as well, but the trains running on this line doesn't match the one shown in the movie.

The station is called Itomori Station in the movie.

They had put up a sign near the station with info about how to best take a picture.

Inside the waiting room at the platform they had one of the sake bottles I also saw in Hida Furukawa and guestbooks.

Lots of signatures.

And some drawings.

I signed the guestbook too of course.

ReplyDeleteWill you be doing pilgrimage guide for Tenki no Ko/Weathering with You too?
ReplyDeleteProbably after I've seen the movie, yeah
DeleteThis is amazing, I work at the local school nearby in Maeda (one stop away in Animaeda) and my friend had pointed this out to me! I think the sign was gone by the time I went late last autumn though (after the typhoon hit).
