Evangelion Shinkansen

Before leaving Osaka for Tokyo I decided to have a look at the Evangelion Shinkansen. This is a 500 Series Kodama train that runs on the Sanyo Shinkansen line between Hakata Station and Shin-Ōsaka Station, so I took a look at it between 11:14 and 11:32 while it was waiting at Shin-Ōsaka Station.



Train car 1 towards Hakata.




The whole train is covered in Evangelion liveries.




NERV logos all over the train.

Most of the train is covered in this purple and green color scheme.




Towards the Shin-Ōsaka end of the train, the livery colors goes to solid grey for a while before going back to purple and green again.

No location map since it's just a Shinkansen train running between Hakata Station and Shin-Ōsaka Station.
