Robotics Notes - Port

The last Robotics;Notes place I visited while in Tanegashima was Nishinoomote port.

Image from Episode 4 - 06m29s

This view of the port is from inside Hotel New Tanegashima. They have a lunch buffet from 11:00 to 14:00 each day that's available for people not staying at the hotel, so you can go there to get this picture then.

They had a Robotics;Notes poster in the lobby of the hotel.

Mitsuhiko picking up items at the dock. I've marked the path from the hotel to this dock in the map below.

The ship here is called Princess Wakasa and it was used as the model for S.S. Anemone in the anime. This ship is used as a ferry in real life.

S.S. Anemone is where the mass fainting incident happened in the past.

In which Kai and Akiho got the elephant-mouse syndrome.

Panning shot. If you look closely you can see a Robotics;Notes poster in the middle of the picture here.

Kai and Akiho shown at the docks in the second OP.

Near the ferry parking lot at the port they had this billboard with the same image on it as the poster inside the ship.

I also checked out the tourist information office at the port.

They had Robotics;Notes items on display here including models of GunBuild.

And a Robotics;Notes poster for sale.

Makoto Shinkai, which directed 5 Centimeters Per Second, exhibition poster here as well.

In the ferry terminal they had this signed Captain Earth poster. I've not watched it, so I didn't visit the Captain Earth locations in Tanegashima.

I got this tourist map of Tanegashima though.

It shows the most popular Robotics;Notes and 5 Centimeters Per Second locations, but not all.

This location was visited on 2018/03/28 and 2018/03/30.
