This panning shot is from the roof of Temple Station. There's benches up here so you can sit down and watch the River Thames.

Next to Temple Station is also the former site of Swissôtel The Howard which was where the girls tried to have afternoon tea, but didn't have reservations. This hotel actually closed down even before the movie was released in cinemas.

The view up Arundel Street is also shown later in the movie. The statue in the upper right is the Gladstone Memorial. I've marked a path from Temple Station to the memorial in the map below.
