Your Name - Other Tokyo Locations

Here's a round-up of some more Tokyo locations shown in the trailers for Makoto Shinkai's Your Name that didn't fit in with the other posts.

This sign north of Aoyama-itchōme Station has been put on the overpass near Shinanomachi Station in the movie. I've marked the location of a police station to the south of this sign in the map below. Just follow the road a bit further north and turn around and you should spot the sign.

This is the rooftop where Taki observes the meteor shower.

One of the antennas on the roof is similar. This location is to the west of Akasaka Palace, close to the Chūō Main Line tracks and a Catholic religious institute. If you decide to visit this place yourself, do remember that it is a private residence and you should NOT trespass.

I also spotted some tower cranes while near this rooftop which reminded me of the ones from the movie.

Leading up to the building with the rooftop is this road. It doesn't look exactly the same as in the movie since there's a fence all the way, but you can see some of the skyscrapers in the background that matches.

The restaurant where Taki works part-time is a part of the chain called Cafe La Boheme in real-life. It's just north of a garden where a certain other Shinkai movie takes place.

We had some pasta for a really late lunch here. At lunch time when we first got here there were a long queue of people waiting to get in because of the popularity of the movie.

These locations were visited on 2016/09/19 and 2016/09/28.

Special thanks to the ones who went here before:
