The train timetable is slightly different in real life.

Reverse view. In the corner here there were various Hanasaku Iroha items.

Closeup of the corner.

Manga, artbooks and magazines.

And a guestbook. It was up to number 36 when I visited.

Lots of messages and signatures.

And drawings.

I signed it too.

Lots of posters inside the station building as well.

And a cardboard cutout of Ohana holding a Yunosagi train emblem.

Back to Koichi inside the station building getting a phone call from Ohana.

Image from Episode 9 - 10m40s

I held my phone in a similar position.

Image from Episode 9 - 10m47s

Koichi is surprised by what he hears on the phone.

Koichi heads outside while making another call.

There's no phone inside the building, but there's a payphone across the street from the station I got a picture of.

Ohana's mother exits the building with Ohana.

Hanasaku Iroha - Nishigishi Station Platform

Yunosagi Station which is shown in Hanasaku Iroha is based on Nishigishi Station in real life, so I went to have a look. I also has a look inside the Station Building.

Image from Episode 1 - 08m39s

Image from Episode 9 - 10m07s

The platform you arrive at if you go here from Kanazawa Station.

Image from Episode 1 - 08m41s

The sign here actually do say Yunosagi Station.

The Yunosagi Station signs are just for decorations and have become pretty faded.

The Nishigishi Station signs are better maintained.

Image from Episode 1 - 23m35s

View from the tracks from the first OP. The Station Building is on the left here.

Image from Episode 4 - 03m37s

Ohana enjoying the falling cherry blossoms.

Image from Episode 4 - 03m38s

Image from Episode 26 - 17m30s

There were still some cherry blossoms here when I visited too.

Image from Episode 4 - 03m40s

View of the platform on the station building side.

Image from Episode 8 - 20m01s

Some of the Noto Railway trains here matches the ones seen in the show.

Image from Episode 8 - 20m02s

The blue signs are in a slightly different spot in real life.

Image from Episode 9 - 10m12s

This is the view from the walkway between the station platforms.

Image from Episode 14 - 00m22s

In this shot from the second OP you can see a waiting shed on the left.

There was a Hanasaku Iroha poster inside the waiting shed.

Hanasaku Iroha poster.

I took a picture of the poster location as well. The station sign is further away from the platform in real life.

Image from Episode 26 - 17m28s

There's stairs instead of a ramp up to the platform here.

Image from Episode 26 - 17m42s

The building on the right behind the cherry tree doesn't seem to match.

Image from Episode 26 - 18m10s

Ohana talks to her grandmother.

Image from Episode 26 - 18m18s

Before getting on the train.

Image from Episode 26 - 18m24s

I got another picture of one of the Noto Railway trains here as well.

Image from Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home - 20m02s

The station platforms are also shown in the movie.

Image from Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home - 20m09s

Satsuki is sitting on the bench here. It doesn't match the anime though.

Image from Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home - 20m15s

Ayato takes a picture of her.

Image from Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home - 20m24s

Which Satsuki doesn't like.

Image from Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home - 20m35s

Ayato walks up the stairs to the platform.

Image from Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home - 20m37s

The real Nishigishi Station sign is on the right here in real life.

Image from Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home - 20m45s

Ayato takes pictures of the platform areas.

Image from Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home - 20m51s

While waiting for the train.

Image from Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home - 21m10s

Satsuki tells Ayato about why she wants to leave Yunosagi.

Image from Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home - 21m34s

The station sign is shown as a wooden one in the movie since it's set in the past.
