A Silent Voice - Gifu Station

Next on my list of places to visit was Gifu Station that was shown in A Silent Voice.

The station is called taiyou joshi gakuenmae in the movie.

But it's actually Gifu Station in real life.

Ishida and Nishimiya takes the escalator down.

Ishida suddenly stops at the bottom of the escalator.

Because somebody has called out to Nishimiya.

And both are surprised to find out...

That it's Sahara that they went to elementary school with.

This is outside the north side of the station.

Sahara tells Nishimiya that she's studied sign language.

But when they start talking about certain things...

And leaves. This overpass is right next to the station area.

Ishida ends up at this zebra crossing in front of a bank. I've marked a path from the overpass to the bank seen here in the map below.
