I went to Sapporo to check out the 68th Sapporo Snow Festival, so I stopped by the Snow Miku Sky Town museum in New Chitose Airport again.
I had been here once before on my previous visit to Sapporo.
They had added the Snow Miku 2016 Nendoroid to their display.
And some other Snow Miku 2016 goods.
Illustrations of both Snow Miku 2016 and the brand new 2017 one.
They had replaced some of the other illustrations on the walls.
And added some more shikishi autograph boards.
The life size Snow Miku figure was still on display of course, but they also had some smaller cardboard cutouts around this time.
These were placed all over, both in the shop area and the museum.
There were also this one for an au x Snow Miku 2017 AR event called Miku Sanpo.
Here you could borrow a Lenovo Phab 2 Pro phone and take AR pictures with Snow Miku 2017 around the museum.
They had various new Miku items for sale as well, like nanoblocks.
Clocks.
Cookies.
Mugs.
And a new official artbook.
They even had a small Christmas tree in Snow Miku colors.
Lots of new drawings on the whiteboard of course.
Closeup of the whiteboard.
At the Sapporo Snow Festival they had a Snow Miku 2017 snow sculpture so I got a picture of that as well.
And a Miku ice sculpture.
Near these two sculptures they had a gift shop.
A lot of the items were already sold out when I was here though.
At the Snow Festival they also had a small post office set up where they had Snow Miku stamps and postcards for sale. They had some anime sets as well, like the Love Live ones which you can also see in this picture.
In another area they had a Shin Godzilla x Mikudayo snow sculpture.
And a My Neighbor Totoro Catbus one.
I also stopped by Mirai St Café again, where they had some new Snow Miku 2017 goods.
And the other whiteboard where fans could leave drawings.
I also saw both the Snow Miku 2017 figma and Nendoroid for sale at Mandarake in Sapporo, which is in the same building as Mirai St Café.
And I saw Snow Miku goods in the UFO catcher crane games at a nearby Taito Station arcade.
Snow Miku was also the ambassador for the 2017 Sapporo Asian Winter Games.
The 2017 Sapporo Asian Winter Games didn't start until the week after I was here though.
